What do we think about when we think about art?

Most think clichés; a Canon camera around the neck,

obsession over Helvetica and deep hatred for Comic

Sans, paint in the hair and dressmaker's pins everywhere.

But we! We are passion and ambition.

We are delicate and powerful brushstrokes,

We are new fonts and typefaces,

We are arrangements and layouts.

We are last-minute trips to the Whitworth Gallery,

We are sneaking snacks into the art rooms,

We are late nights, long nights, all-nighters.

We are the clicking of the MacBook keypad,

We are the noise of sewing machines,

We are screen-printing, mono-printing, normal printing.

We are ideas!
