WHAT IS THE ISO PROJECT?
As we find ourselves removed from our usual class environments, where the regular exchange of ideas thrives, we, the Collective, want to establish a socially distanced space for us to digitally share our creativity.
However, we know online platforms are a normal way to share content - and our current situation is far from normal. So during this time of forced solitude we want to find new and innovative ways of making and exploring our creativity. We feel we have too.
Unprecedented times, call for unprecedented approaches. We have to question and rethink our methods of making, we have to reconsider our understanding of materials and exercise our imagination to transform the space of home into our creative studios. We may well have to start to play again…
So for those of you who want to use this solitary time productively and collaboratively, we will be releasing starting points for mini-projects to inspire us. Each week there will be a new brief set , a prompt to help us start this new way of working. Join us, you might surprise yourself…
